Fundación Unión
Argentina de Rugby

FUAR, the Argentine Rugby Union Foundation, accompanies male and female players and referees who have suffered injuries during the practice of rugby. Everything raised by FUAR, through individual donations, unions, clubs, and companies, has a charitable purpose: to accompany the rugby community when it needs it most. FUAR has 2 objectives: to reimburse medical expenses according to a FUAR fee schedule for minor injuries to male and female players and referees who do not have medical insurance; and to accompany anyone who suffers a severe injury, offering them support and improvements to their quality of life from the day of the accident and throughout their entire life.

Starting point

When FUAR came to Eremo, it already had an established digital community and a very powerful cause within the rugby ecosystem. The challenge was not to start from scratch, but to organize and enhance that presence: to communicate more clearly what the Foundation does, how the Solidarity Fund works, how people can collaborate, and why its work is key for the entire rugby community.

Challenge

FUAR had a lot of value to share: real stories, impact data, events, sponsorships, strong ties with clubs, and a deeply human mission. However, it needed to turn all of that into a clearer, more consistent, and sustained communication strategy.

The main challenges were:

  • Explain simply what FUAR is and its connection to the UAR.
  • Organize monthly social media communication.
  • Communicate a sensitive cause without resorting to cheap emotionalism or victimhood.
  • Professionalize the visual identity across digital and physical pieces.
  • Show injured players as protagonists of a story of accompaniment.
  • Make better use of testimonials, videos, and events.

What we did at Eremo

At Eremo we developed a comprehensive strategy to transform FUAR’s real impact into clearer, more visible, and actionable communication.

The work included:

Vector-tic

2026 Social Media Strategy: objectives, audiences, content pillars, tone of voice, and key messages.

Vector-tic

Monthly Content Planning: calendars to maintain frequency, variety, and focus; during the first month, we focused on ensuring a hierarchically relevant distribution of the most important information across their social media profiles.

Vector-tic

Copywriting and Content Development: captions, posts, and creative ideas to showcase their mission from different angles.

Vector-tic

Editable Canva Templates:  tools so that FUAR could create simple graphics with greater autonomy.

Vector-tic

2026 FUAR Template Manual: alongside the templates, we developed a visual system for carousels, stories, observances, giveaways, and institutional pieces.

Vector-tic

Match Day Booth: a clear, actionable physical presence for events, featuring messages about signing up, the Solidarity Fund, donations, and volunteering.

Vector-tic

Event and Tournament Communication: graphics for golf tournaments, matches, stories, flyers, wrap-ups, and fundraising.

Vector-tic

Newsletter and Press Release Support: messaging structure, design, and flow.

Notion Dashboard: task organization, approvals, resources, and project tracking.

Impact and Signs of Results

This work helped organize a communication strategy that already had great strength, but needed more structure to be sustained over time.

Key signs observed:

  • Greater clarity in explaining what FUAR does and how the Solidarity Fund works.
  • Greater visual consitency across social media, events, and institutional communications.
  • More autonomy for the FUAR team thanks to editable templates.
  • Better use of existing testimonials and audiovisual material.
  • Greater in-person visibility at events thanks to the booth.
  • Better organization of daily work through Notion.
  • During follow-up meetings, better reception of content and greater amplification by the UAR were recorded.

In summary,

FUAR already had impact, community, and a deeply valuable mission. Eremo’s work was to organize that strength into a clearer, more sensitive, and sustainable communication system.

It wasn't just about making posts: it was about building a way of communicating that could support the Foundation's mission across social media, events, institutional pieces, and touchpoints with the rugby community.
