Centro Medjugorje

Centro Medjugorje Argentina is the official entity in our country for the Marian phenomenon of Medjugorje, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Their core mission is to be “Mary’s extended hands” in Argentina, spreading the spirituality of Mary, Queen of Peace.

When they contacted us, they shared a fundamental challenge: they needed to create and consolidate their digital presence to amplify their mission and establish themselves as the official voice of Medjugorje in the country. Before our intervention, Centro Medjugorje Argentina lacked a digital footprint that allowed it to connect effectively with its audience. This absence limited their reach and the spread of their message, making it harder to achieve their goals.

To address this, we worked intensively for six months.

The first month was dedicated entirely to developing the brand identity.Through a series of collaborative exercises held side-by-side with the Centro Medjugorje team, we clearly articulated their mission, identified their value proposition, and defined their target audience and communication style. Most importantly, we uncovered the deep motivation behind their work.

This process culminated in the definition of the brand’s “personality” and its essential attributes:

  • Tone: Official yet approachable.
  • Desired emotion: Love and peace.
  • Desired impact: Spreading information and the spirituality of Medjugorje.

Our graphic design team explored various style boards to bring these concepts to life visually, resulting in the definitive image of Centro Medjugorje Argentina. We defined a color palette, selected three distinctive fonts and created graphic elements that reflect their essence. This visual and conceptual guide was documented in a comprehensive brand DNA manual.

Adapting the logo

One of the most significant challenges was adapting the logo. Centro Medjugorje is present in many countries, sharing a common logo base. We took on the challenge of developing the specific version for Argentina, maintaining global coherence while solving a crucial technical issue.

We identified that the existing logo did not function ideally in positive or negative applications, as the central symbol lost its shape and legibility.

The solution: We redrew the image of the Virgin to ensure a clear outline and used a specific variant of that unique symbol, excluding the flag and the cross. This technical decision was vital to ensure the image of the Virgin—the pillar of their identity—maintained its integrity across all digital formats. The client especially valued this solution, noting how the new image relates directly and effectively to the figure of the Virgin Mary.

Once the brand identity was consolidated, we moved forward with designing custom templates for all digital touchpoints. This included optimized templates for social media, flyers, and email marketing campaigns. To guarantee long-term sustainability, we created Canva templates, empowering the client to maintain a professional and coherent image autonomously.

In parallel, our social media team launched the official Instagram, Facebook and YouTube accounts. Beyond setup, we developed all profile images, story highlights, and covers, ensuring a visually compelling presence from day one.

The main goal of this stage was the development and implementation of a comprehensive content strategy.

All this collaborative and strategic effort helped Centro Medjugorje Argentina achieve its primary goal: establishing itself as a strong, official voice for Medjugorje in Argentina, emphasizing its deep communion with the Church.

The primary challenge was to communicate the Medjugorje experience authentically and warmly, ensuring every message conveyed the profound feeling of being loved by Mary. Thanks to the new identity, the visual optimization of the logo, and the digital strategy, Centro Medjugorje Argentina now radiates that authenticity and closeness in every interaction. Their online presence is not only solid and professional but a true reflection of their mission, allowing them to connect with the community of faith in a deeply meaningful way.

This project provided a solid foundation for an active community, amplifying the Virgin’s message and achieving a more effective evangelization. They now have the tools to bring their initiatives—such as the annual congress—to a much broader and more committed audience, fulfilling their mission of being “Mary’s extended hands” with unprecedented reach in the digital age.
